FTND Parachute Concert
Today I'm plugging an amazing organization that I'm very passionate about. Fight the New Drug (FTND) is a youth-driven organization dedicated to raising awareness on the addictive and harmful potential of pornography. Back in June they hosted the band PARACHUTE in Salt Lake City at the Gallivan Center. I was one of MANY volunteers and was SO excited to be able to photograph the day's events. From news stations, to unloading the gear, to setting up the booth, to meeting the fighters, and then the actual concert- it was overall amazing! The concert was a HUGE success with over 3,000 people turning up! Photographing was a blast AND it was great to get the message out about the harmful effects of pornography. Seeing all the new fighters file out wearing their FTND t-shirts was my favorite part of the day. It was awesome! Go check them out at www.fightthenewdrug.org. Get educated and become a FIGHTER!
